20250623             Was danach kommt, werde ich dann schon sehen«.

20250623             Insgesamt werden an der Universität Siegen  über 50 Studiengänge angeboten.

20250623             The potential blocking of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran will not spare the US, triggering a "global oil shock," CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries Kirill Dmitriev said.
20250623             "Oil is priced globally.
20250623             If the Strait of Hormuz is shut, the U.S. won’t be spared.
20250623             No one is immune from a global oil shock - prices at the pump will [skyrocket]," he wrote on the X social network.
20250623             On Monday, the price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for August 2025 delivery has risen above $81 per barrel on London’s ICE for the first time since January 20, according to trading data.

20250623             EU foreign affairs ministers will discuss the Israeli-Iranian conflict and approve the 18th sanctions package against Russia at their scheduled meeting in Luxembourg.
20250623             Additionally, they will make another attempt to introduce sanctions against several Israeli ministers for the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip but this is unlikely due to the absence of consensus.
20250623             The current meeting between the top European diplomats is the last one before the summit of NATO countries’ leaders in the Hague on June 24-25 and of EU leaders in Brussels on June 26-27.
20250623             The high officials will discuss preparations for these summits.

20250623             UNITED NATIONS, June 23. /TASS/.The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been conducting inspections of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure most often, compared to other countries, while instead of support, Tehran gets bombed, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.
20250623             "I would like to reiterate that Israel still has not joined the NPT (the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons - TASS), accordingly, no full-fledged IAEA inspections system is being applied to it.
20250623             Iran remains the most IAEA-inspected country in the world.
20250623             And, instead of support of this attitude, its territory and residents are being bombed, by a country at that, which, let me reiterate, completely refuses to sign the NPT.
20250623             This is an outrageous and cynical situation," he said at an emergency session of the UN Security Council called over US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
20250623             Overnight into June 22, US President Donald Trump said that the US armed forces had successfully attacked three nuclear sites in Iran: Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
20250623             He said that Tehran must agree to end the conflict.
20250623             Since June 13, Israel has been repeatedly delivering strikes on Iran within the framework of the operation against Tehran’s nuclear program.

20250623             Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi today, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.
20250623             "Yes," he said in response to a corresponding question.
20250623             Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed to TASS that the top Iranian diplomat had arrived in Moscow on Sunday evening "to hold a number of talks".
20250623             According to Iran's IRNA news agency, the Iranian foreign minister intends to consult with the Russian president and senior officials regarding the regional and international agenda in light of the US and Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
20250623             The Primakov Readings conference is an annual international scientific and expert forum.
20250623             It discusses scenarios for the development of international relations and challenges in the sphere of international security, as well as new models of interaction between subjects of world politics.

20250623             BRUSSELS, June 23. /TASS/.
20250623             The closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran will be a huge threat, so the EU foreign ministers will discuss the possibilities of a diplomatic solution to the conflict, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said upon arrival at the meeting of the EU foreign ministers.
20250623             "The ministers are very much focused on the diplomatic solution.
20250623             Also, the concerns of retaliation - as this war is escalating - are huge.
20250623             Especially closing of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran is something that would be extremely dangerous and not good for anybody," Kallas said.
20250623             Kallas also allowed for new EU sanctions against Iran to ensure that Iran does not resume its nuclear program.
20250623             "We are in the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action], we have obligations in place, and, of course, we have this sanctions package mechanism, which puts all sanction back [on Iran] if there are no improvements, [on the situation with the nuclear program].
20250623             And, of course, that would mean that Iran’s economy is not really doing well, and it is not good for the Iranian people.
20250623             Definitely, if the nuclear program is something Iran should not have, we have to work towards that," she said.
20250623             Otherwise, according to her, the EU advocates for diplomacy and a diplomatic solution.
20250623             In her statements, Kallas never mentioned the other side of the conflict - Israel and the United States.
20250623             JCPOA and commitments
20250623             The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue was signed in 2015 by Iran, Russia, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
20250623             The coordinator of the multi-year negotiations that culminated in the signing of this document was the head of the EU diplomatic service Federica Mogherini.
20250623             This document prescribed step-by-step actions for Iran to abandon its military nuclear program, confirming its right to peaceful nuclear energy.
20250623             It prescribed mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of these steps by the IAEA and reciprocal steps by the EU and the United States to gradually lift sanctions against Iran.
20250623             The JCPOA was in fact destroyed by the US in 2018, when the first Donald Trump administration announced its withdrawal from the agreement with the intention of "negotiating a better deal for the US," which was never done. Israel actively pushed the US to withdraw from the JCPOA.

20250623             Tensions in the Middle East are escalating day by day due to the decision of Israel and the US to attack Iranian nuclear facilities, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
20250623             "Tensions are only escalating every day  because of the fact that they have decided to attack us, our [nuclear] facilities.
20250623             Not only Israel, but also the Americans," he said.
20250623             The top diplomat emphasized that "these aggressive actions by Israel and the US are completely illegitimate and violate international rules and international norms".
20250623             On the evening of June 22, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
20250623             He intends to consult with the Russian leader and senior officials on the regional and international agenda in light of the US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
20250623             Overnight into June 13, Israel kicked off Operation Rising Lion aimed against Iran’s nuclear program.
20250623             Less than 24 hours later, Iran launched a retaliatory attack.
20250623             In the following days, Tel Aviv and Tehran exchanged strikes again.
20250623             Both sides reported casualties resulting from these attacks and acknowledged hits on several targets within their territories, though they claimed the damage was limited.
20250623             In the early morning hours of June 22, President Donald Trump announced that the US had successfully attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

20250623             MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/.
20250623             During a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the recent strikes on Iran as unprovoked aggression with no justification.
20250623             "This is an absolutely unprovoked act of aggression against Iran; it has no basis or justification," Putin stated.
20250623             He reiterated Russia’s stance, emphasizing, "Our position on the current events is well known.
20250623             It has been clearly articulated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of Russia".
20250623             As outlined in the Foreign Ministry’s earlier statement, Moscow strongly condemns the American attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
20250623             The ministry called for an immediate end to hostilities and urged increased diplomatic efforts to steer the situation back onto a political and peaceful track.
20250623             The escalation began on June 13, when Israel launched a military operation against Iran.

20250623             We have offered our mediation efforts.
